My Bio:
As you have figured out now, I am guy scrapbooker and stamper. I started this hobby about 3 years ago after I adopted set of fraternal twin boys, Quincy & Quentin. The boys were adopted from an orphanage and did not have any kind of heritage of their lives. I was bound and determined to find a way to go back and try to fix this. I started scrap booking because I wanted to just this preserve their heritage. I became a member of a group here called Nashville Scrappers & Stampers meet-up group and was welcomed into this world of what I found out to be mostly women. They were so accepting and helpful to me and soon became some of my friends. Over time, I became an organizer for this group and an advocate for guy scrapbookers and stampers.
About a year in, I was invited by a friend to a Stamp Camp hosted by my up-line Leesa Williams. I had no idea just how fun this would be. I was so hooked. I meet my friend Shawna Ruffin, who allowed me to join her monthly scrapbook club. I could still not have so much fun as I was having with this group of ladies. During October, I found a Halloween treat idea for my boys classrooms and embarked on what became 2 weeks worth of work that I never expected to make these treats in time for their Halloween Party at school. I took the treats to school and everyone was amazed at the quality of these treats and asked me if I sold this stuff. STOPP!!! Now I knew this was an omen for me to sell Stampin Up but the timimg and money was not right. I waited some more months until Stampin Up ran a special and became a demo not soon after that.
Now I am a guy selling in a girls world. Its hard but I enjoy the challenge. I love sharing recipes and eating all the food when my groups get together. I enjoy talking on the phone for countless hours about Stamping and Scrapping with new friends from the business.
